== '''History''' == Manory’s Diner was founded by the Manory family in 1913 and today it is considered the "oldest lasting restaurant in Troy" and is a staple in downtown Troy. Before it became an RPI favorite, it was serving simple breakfast foods such as eggs, sandwiches, and coffee in the 1900s. Especially going through the rise of fast food chains, the Great Depression, and the Civil War, a lot of diners struggled to compete and were forced to shutdown. What allowed the restaurant to stay open that long was its quality food, inviting ambiance, and exceptional service. To this day the restaurant is still family owned, although not specifically by the Manory family, and serves a special place in the hearts of the people in Troy.
